Adding or Removing a new user to/from a Subversion Repository <span style="color:red;">*You need to be the repository owner to be able to perform the following steps*</span> # Go to your "Subversion Homepage":/subversion/ # Click on the repository name that you'd like to add/remove a new user to/from. # The list of users that have access to the repository that you're viewing is listed under *Permissions* Adding users: # Click on the *New Permissions* link that should be on your right. # Put in a valid "XP-Dev.com":/ username (user needs to be created) # Select either a *Read* or *Write* level permission. # Click on *Save* # The new user should be listed under *Permissions* Removing users: # Click on the *Delete* link on the row of the permissions table (below *Permissions*) that the user is on. *All users that are added need to be valid "XP-Dev.com":/ registered users* h3. Public Repositories <span style="color:red;">*You need to be the repository owner to be able to perform the following steps*</span> All subversion repositories when marked as *Public* will allow unauthenticated users (anonymous / general public, etc) to perform a _read-only_ checkout of the repository. They (unauthenticated users) will not be able to perform any write operations. To mark a repository as *Public*: # Go to your "Subversion Homepage":/subversion/ # Click on the repository that you'd like to mark as *Public* # Click on the *Edit Repository* link on your right. # Tick the box next to *Public* # Click on *Save* h2.
