The developer of CalendarSync (hi Kristof!) kindly offered me a test licence so I could try running his app on my LG P-990. I got help from a colleague (I’m not very technical) to set it up, and we’d got to the point of trying to contact the Kronolith (H3 [2.3.5]) calendar on my site to see if we could export it to the phone using CalDAV. The final (BIG) rock we hit was to discover (somewhat unexpectedly) from Jumba (my hosting service) that it doesn’t offer WebDAV! Needless to say, this is incredibly frustrating.

Interestingly, when I check in cpanel, I’m pretty sure WebDAV is amongst the services. I’m wondering whether I should beg Jumba to offer WebDAV, or whether you think that Web/phone synching with WebDAV is worth pursuing anyway? Is WebDAV here to stay?
