Adding Trac to an existing project

Can I add Trac to an existing project? Or is there some way to create a new Trac project and import an existing svn project?

Also, search for the forum would be helpful.

You can do this in the following steps:

  1. Create a new Trac project
  2. Go to your current project’s Source Control tab
  3. Click on Edit Repository Settings
  4. Change the project to your new Trac project

That should move the project over to the Trac project.

I can see you accessing your Trac project, however, the server is rejecting your password.

On a side note, your Subversion repository is on svn2 and your Trac project is on trac3. I’ll need to move your repository to svn3. When would you like me to do that ?

All done, remember that you will need to do a svn switch https://svn3.xp-dev.com/svn/full-repo-url on any checked out copies of your repository.

If it is between two Trac projects, and the target project is empty, then it should be do-able. However, if you want to migrate XP-Dev project artifacts to Trac, then its not that easy.
