I’ve googled the following and it seems I need to reboot my Subversion server to fix the problem. :-(

This was a 2nd attempt at a 1st commit of a newly added file (I think). I suspect there was some kind of network hiccup while sending it. Dunno. I must admit that I’m so used to XP-Dev working flawlessly, that I wasn’t really paying attention. XP-Dev has been a life saver for me. Thanks!!
