In the past, comments on artifacts such as stories, bugs, forum topics, blog entries, etc, used to be flat - in the sense that there was no way to reply to a comment. New comments ended up at the bottom of the screen, even though it may have had a reference to a comment somewhere towards the top.

This wasn’t a good model as context of a reply was lost and required a lot of scrolling on more complex conversations, which made it difficult to read.

We’ve just removed this limitation and you can now reply to comments. Just look out for the Reply link on any comment:
