Slack Integration

Slack is a real-time messaging platform. You can now get your Git, Subversion & Mercurial repository changes posted to Slack channels as messages.

As a company, we use Slack for our own messaging needs, and getting repository notifications directly into Slack has reduced our needs for email notifications.

Getting this setup is quite easy. All you have to do is head to your repository’s Integration sub-tab, and add the integration Slack. You’ll need to enter a Slack channel name, and click on Save. Just follow the on-screen instructions to complete Slack’s OAuth authentication and authorisation.

Full documentation including screenshots are available on our documentation site under Git, Subversion & Mercurial repository integration with Slack:
