Any way to modify ticket workflow?
Hi, is there any way to modify the ticket workflow in either the XP-dev bug-tracker or in Trac? I want to be able to:
1. Add ticket states and change state names
2. Only allow certain state transitions. For example, moving a ticket from “In Progress” to “New” would not be allowed.
As far as I can tell, I can do 1 in XP-dev, but not 2. For Trac, it looks like I can do both, but I need to modify the trac.ini file, which I don’t have access to. Here’s what I’m talking about:

Is this correct? If so, I guess I’d request this as a feature.

Custom workflows in our own bug tracking tool doesn’t really exist – we just have bugs and their states can be moved from one to another quite freely.
However, for Trac, you can enforce a certain workflow. Once you know the changes you’d like to do on trac.ini, then do raise a ticket and we’ll apply it for your project.
