There seemed to be an issue with source repositories on http://svn2.xp-dev.com/svn earlier today – from comparing notes with colleagues the problem was not on repositories on https://svn.xp-dev.com/svn

The problem manifested itself as a timeout when accessing (browsing or commiting) the repository with an error message including: 'xp-dev could not read status line: an existing connection was forcibly closed'

This was not a proxy issue as I tried it on multiple machines on multiple networks (and even multiple countries with the help of colleagues to be thorough!).

The problem appears to have resolved itself now.

Does anyone know what the issue might have been?
