Trac issue tracking notifications

Sorry for this question, but could you please tell us when Trac notifications will be available? Issue tracking one of the most critical service for us, may be there is some workaround for Trac projects to make e-mail notifications working?

Thank you in advance,
Anton

Trac notifications was released 2 weeks ago

Head to your Trac tab in XP-Dev.com and if you’re logged in as the project owner you should see the options to enable notifications there.

Remember to setup an appropriate email address on each of your Trac project’s preferences page.

Thank you, but I have just tested it and did not get e-mail:

  1. Go to my project Trac tab (http://www.xp-dev.com/trac/66142)
  2. Turn options “E-Mail Notifications Enabled” and “Use drop-downs for Assigned-To fields” on
  3. Press the button "Save"
  4. Go to Notifications tab (http://www.xp-dev.com/settings/subscriptions)
  5. Check email (it is correct) and Subscriptions/Notification - “All” for all items
  6. Go to Trac/New ticket (http://trac.xp-dev.com/piccard/newticket)
  7. Create new ticket and assign it to me
  8. Press the button "Create ticket"

As a result I did not get any e-mail for my address. Also I have tried to edit Wiki pages – result is the same. What I did wrong?

Please re-read my comment above:

Remember to setup an appropriate email address on each of your Trac project’s preferences page.

You need to go to login to your Trac installation and click on the Preference link at the top right hand corner to setup your email address. Each user needs to do this separately.
