Documentation Updated

We’ve just updated our documentation site from a custom Wicket web app over to Pelican:

We’ve done this for a couple of reasons.

As a company, we have been moving over quite a few sites and apps (including our sister products,, etc) over to Pelican. This is how we will be moving as well in the future. Pelican is pretty awesome because it is extremely extensible, and it uses Jinja2 for templating. If you have some experience in Python, it makes the learning curve extremely simple.

Additionally, we used to host images from non-SSL’d domains and this used to cause warnings in your browser (because you’re loading a non-SSL resource from an SSL page). This change fixes this, as everything is now run off our root domain over SSL:

This does make our management of documentation a little bit easier, and we’ve added a few more new articles, for e.g. Git tutorial and Getting Git to remember your username/password

If you need us to document or add anyting, just give us a shout.
