Bug #2: misplaced comments

existing comments on functions get misplaced when attributes are added to a class.

steps to reproduce:
- create a class
- add a function
- add a comment to the function
- add an attribute

Allow New Class Instance window to be resizable

In a Sequence Diagram I selected the toolbar item ‘Create a new instance of a class’ and the window that appears with title ‘New Class Instance’ is not resizeable. Can you please allow the window to be resized and remember the last position and size of the window so I do not need to resize and reposition it each time?

Bug #26: Unit tests failed with new Groovy plugin

Lots of unit tests started to fail after I installed the new Groovy plugin.
The problem is in ASTBuilder:

parser.createAST gives a NullPointerException. Perhaps because it calls JavaCore.getPlugin() to get a log object.

Bug #29: Query is partially converted to lowercase

Query "select a from com.x.Configuration a where a.id = ( select max ( b.id ) from com.x.Configuration b )"
was converted to
"select a from com.x.Configuration a where a.id = ( select max ( b.id ) from com.x.configuration b )"

Fully support the Java final modifier for attributes

Set, add and remove methods are not generated for final attributes.

When editing an association role, the “final” keyword will now appear.

Enter multi-line Comments

I can enter a Comment associated with a Class Diagram’s attribute but I cannot see a way of using the keyboard to make a comment span more than one line. A workaround is to create many comments one for each line but that is quite cumbersome.

I clicked on a comment in a Class Diagram to highlight it. I would like to be able to press the Delete key to delete it rather than use the mouse.

The HibernateHelper class is stored always in the (source) folder src/main/resources even if I configured src/main/java. Moving the class to the target folder sees to work.

I had a class Value with an attribute value that had a comment Tag symbol in ClassDiagram 1.
I deleted the value attribute in another diagram.
Then I opened ClassDiagram 1 and got this exception:

Some times, a class diagram is still dirty after save. It is safe to close the diagram, but the dirty flag is not correctly cleard.

I tried declaring an attribute in a Persistent class as mandatory such as:

In the hibernate mapping file I didn’t see any change. I was hoping the property for that attribute would use the not-null=“true” modifier such as:

Bug #41: Hibernate Time type not supported correctly

In the Hibernate documentation it states that java.util.Date or java.sql.Time can be used for the TIME type but it seems the preferable class for me is not correctly supported by HiberObjects. When I define an attribute of type Time it is declaring the following in the mapping file:

Bug #50: hbm missing not-null for many-to-one association

I have class Scan that has a 1-to-1 uni-directional association to ScanDefinition and the following is defined:

If the association was not mandatory then the above is correct but every Scan object MUST have a ScanDefinition object which is why I defined the inverse multiplicity as 1 rather than None. So I expected the following to be generated:

Bug #69: Tags do not remember their position when saved

I have a class diagram where I have various hibernate tags entered and I have moved those tags from their default position to a location that avoids overlapping with something else in the diagram. Unfortunately when I save the diagram, close Eclipse, re-open eclipse, then that diagram doesn’t remember the position of my saved tags and I again have the problem of tags overlapping each other or other elements in the diagram which makes my diagram hard to read.

This is occurring for @hibernate tags on attributes. Doesn’t seem to be a problem for @hibernate tags on the class' name.

Bug #72: TIMESTAMP, TIME, and DATE special types break auto interface

I have “Generate interfaces” turned on for persistent classes.

When I add attributes with the special types TIMESTAMP, TIME, and DATE, the code generated for the class includes java.util.Date as expected. However, in the auto-generated interfaces the special types remain unchanged. For example, in a <<Persistent>> class I have:

+TIMESTAMP executionTimestamp

Here’s the generated code in the class:
public java.util.Date getExecutionTimestamp() {
return this.executionTimestamp;
}
public void setExecutionTimestamp(java.util.Date executionTimestamp) {
this.executionTimestamp = executionTimestamp;
}

And here’s the generated code in the interface:

TIMESTAMP getExecutionTimestamp();
void setExecutionTimestamp(TIMESTAMP executionTimestamp);
