Move Stories?

I’m trying out xp-dev and just created a whole bunch of unallocated stories for my project backlog. I then created my first iteration and went to move stories from my project backlog into my iteration and... How do I do that? :-)

Edit the story and there’s a drop-down to move it to any iteration

I’m sorry – I don’t see it. I must be completely blind! I see a drop-down for assigning a story to a user, but I don’t see any other drop downs. Would you mind describing where I should be looking on the screen? Thanks.

OK. I found it. There are a couple different “edit story” views. One allows a user to be assigned to a story. The other allows the story to be assigned to an iteration. Thanks.

Don’t think you can assign a story to a user. You’re probably editing a task. Task are assignable to users and have a parent story. The stories themselves are assign to an iteration (and transitively, the tasks are part of that iteration)
